Software giant Microsoft has already unveiled the ultimate preview, the Windows 8 Release Preview, for its forthcoming operating system. And persistently the company is revealing novel updates on the final preview in order to successfully test all the state-of-the-art features of Windows 8 before it hits the market this fall. After releasing a myriad of apps and features, the company has now announced an additional pioneering app for Windows 8 Release Preview, dubbed People.
This cloud-based app is a contact tool basically designed to sync address book details with LinkedIn, Google, Exchange, Twitter, and Facebook accounts. Apart from integrating contact information, People App also lets the users view as well as network with their Twitter and Facebook accounts – liking statuses and retweeting posts.
In addition to this, Microsoft has included a conflict management system to collate contact data at a single place without editing the respective contacts.
Microsoft is ambitious about using the People App as a cloud-powered address book for Windows 8.
