Even if you were never in that particular situation, it is better that you know about the recovery tools that you have in your operating system Windows 8, just to be on the safer side. Where to find the tools?
You can find the advanced recovery tools from the Settings window. Once you on the start scree, hover the mouse over the top right corner of the screen to bring the ‘Charms’ menu on the screen. Once you get the charms menu on the screen, you need to select the option ‘Settings’ on that menu to proceed further. In the ‘Settings’ window, you would see the option ‘Change PC settings’. Select that option to proceed further.
Once you select that option, you would find an option on the window called ‘General’, select that option. Once you select ‘General’ settings options, you would find the option ‘Advanced Startup’ option, select that option. There you would find the option ‘Restart now’ button which you need to click on. Once you clock the option, you would be asked to choose an option on ‘Choose an option’ windows where you need to select the option ‘Troubleshoot’. After you select that option, you need to select ‘Advanced options’ option on the window.
Now, you finally get to the ‘advanced recovery options’. There on that window, you can change the recovery options of your operating system. Did you find it a bit confusing?
