A Chinese website has claimed that the build for the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, which is going to release on February 29, will be 8250. A build number is kept track of by many and in the case of the new Windows 8, it is bound to create more interest until we reach the end of the month.
So, do we need to lend credence to this latest speculation involving Windows 8? Whatever! But our incredulity should not dissuade us from drawing an inference or two. If the build is indeed 8250, it means Microsoft will come up with a few more iterations before the final launch of the Consumer Preview on February 29.
Those who have had the opportunity to assess the effectiveness of the Build 8225 have given a positive feedback. In fact, the build number 8227 too is out and reports suggest that it is quite stable.
