A few problems with ARM and Windows RT

Microsoft is trying to do what Apple usually does with all its products, control the hardware and software end of them. However, it seems like there are a few problems with Windows on ARM, or Windows RT as it is officially called.

Windows was happily running on 86X for a long time. Recently, Microsoft has decided to shift to ARM. ARM is cheaper and faster than 86X. ARM has a few limitations and Microsoft needs to address them as soon as possible.

ARM does not support storage. Windows RT or Windows on ARM will also not have Windows Media Player. It is not just these but ARM will also not support BitLocker or any kind of encryption. These limitations could make life difficult for Windows RT or Windows on ARM.

Hope Microsoft comes up with some alternative to these limitations before it releases Windows 8 and Windows RT this October. To know more about this, read the complete story here.
