Acer® working on a Windows® Phone 8 handset

A slider phone is currently in development – Acer is not only releasing tablets for Windows 8 but also developing Windows phone 8. This phone is codenamed W11 and it is a slider phone, which has a QWERTY keypad.
Not many details about the phone are available to us at this moment. However, we know this much – this phone will be available to users when Windows 8 would be released in this year. Another manufacturer added to the list of Windows Phone 8 makers.
This news is not confirmed by Acer and is a rumor. This phone is supposedly better looking than the Acer’s M900. People are speculating that this might not be able to compete with Nokia’s Windows Phone 8.
