Amtel released maXTouch controllers for Windows 8
To power the latest Windows 8 touch-based devices, Atmel Corporation in partnership with Microsoft, will release the state-of-the-art maXTouch controllers. Scheduled to be released in December 2012, these controllers boast features such as multi-touch with infinite touch capabilities, optimized power consumption, and the facility of giving superior assistance to devices with large screen. Through its first-touch latency, edge structure, and finger separation services, these controllers are designed to offer an enhanced and one-of-a-kind touchscreen experience to the Windows 8 operating system users.
These maXTouch controllers by Atmel sport the ability to power almost 30 Windows 8 touch-based devices, including notebook PCs, Ultrabooks, and tablets.
With the introduction of Windows 8 operating system, the demand of touch-based technology has widely increased and it is anticipated to elevate with Atmel’s touchscreen controllers.
