Better language support in Windows® 8
Microsoft is finally coming up with better language support for its new operating system Windows 8. The onus here however is on the consumer. It is who buys the OS to find out if the copy they’re buying has the language support enabled or not.
Windows 8 will include 13 new interface packs, which lets users see Windows features in Scottish Gaelic, Punjabi, Uyghur, Cherokee and other tongues which are listed here. And language support isn’t the only thing that’s new. Windows 8 will have a new display language English; English as the queen speaks it. You read it right - English for the United Kingdom is going to be a new display language in Windows 8.
So Microsoft is not just concentrating on technical aspects of an OS, but also concentrating on minor changes and additions like these. To know more about this, read this.
