HTC® Will Debut 3 Windows® 8 Phones –Rio, Accord and Zenith
After Samsung'sÂ ATIV S and Nokia's Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 at IFA Berlin, HTC is rumored to line up its Windows 8 range of Smartphone handsets. The company is going to announce its Windows 8 phones on September 5, 2012 at IFA in Berlin. There are three handsets that HTC is bringing for Windows enthusiasts. These are Rio, Zenith, and Accord.
HTC Rio is an entry-level Windows 8 Smartphone while the Accord is a mid-range phone and Zenith will be the flagship phone to look forward to. All three Â handsets will feature a minimum of 4-inch screen.
HTC Rio Â
Rio, being an entry-level of the three, will be an affordable handset. The RIO will supposedly come with a Qualcomm MSM8227 quad-core processor, an 800x480 pixel, 4-inch QVGA display, a Â 5-megapixel camera with 720p video capture capability.
Rumor says that HTC Accord Windows 8 might be dubbed as HTC X8 or Windows Phone X8. This HTC phone will feature a 4.3-inch display with 720p Super LCD 2 variety. The phone will have an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video shooting capacity. With all these features, HSPA+ connectivity, NFC, a dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, the addition of Beats Audio to HTC Accord is going to win massive audiophiles’ heart. The phone will be available in 8GB and 16GB versions.
HTC Zenith Windows 8 phone will come bundled with a slightly larger and possibly brighter screen with 4.7-inch Super LCD 2 display. Like Rio, the ‘big gun’ HTC Zenith will also come equipped with a quad-core processor, an eight megapixel camera and a 42Mbps HSPA+ connectivity.
