Last quarter will see both X86 and ARM Windows® 8 devices
According to rumors, Windows will release both the versions, X86 and Windows on ARM devices this October. Three years ago, Windows 7 was released and both the users and market experts were happy with that version of the operating system.
Now with Windows 8, Microsoft hopes to recreate similar success that Windows 7 has seen. According to a few people who have knowledge on the release schedule, users will be seeing both versions in the market available to them.
Some of the ARM players in the market are also echoing the same dates. They say that the way things are going right now, ARM based Windows devices are a possibility in the last quarter of this year.
People at Intel have also said that they have seen documentation that suggests that October is the date for the release. To know more about this, read the complete story here.
