LG unveils Windows 8 optimized 23-inches touch monitor
Have you recently upgraded your operating system to Windows 8 and want to experience the touch-screen features of this new operating system? If yes, then the recently introduced 23-inches Touch 10 monitor from LG Electronics may be worth considering. The Touch 10 is a touch-screen monitor which has been optimized for Windows 8. The Touch 10 monitor (model ET83) allows all ten fingers to be used on-screen, simultaneously.
Unlike the conventional touch-screen monitors that enable two-finger dragging, scrolling and pinching, the LG 23-inch Touch 10 monitor allows all ten fingers to be used simultaneously. The Touch 10 monitor is an ideal choice for those computer users who want to enjoy an enhanced touch computing experience without upgrading their entire machine.
As far as the features of Touch 10 monitor are concerned, it uses an In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and works with a capacitive stylus, which can be purchased separately.
The company is promoting the Touch 10 as suitable for both tablets as well as existing PC setups. As the monitor has been designed with Windows 8 in mind, all the relevant gestures should work as standard, and it also affords new actions too, such as dragging and rotating multiple items simultaneously.
The LG Touch 10 monitor will be available in Korea next month followed by markets in Europe and elsewhere. The pricing of this monitor is yet to be announced.
