Microsoft® and Nokia® can lure Blackberry® users
Blackberry’s ship is sinking. Research in Motion has not done anything substantial in last few years to keep up the market trends apart from introducing a touch-screen phone. Nokia and Microsoft partners can clearly tap the user base of Blackberry and lure them into buying Windows Phone.
With existing Nokia Lumia series and Nokia Apollo series that would be running on Windows Phone 8. The smartphones market had iPhone, Android and Blackberry. Moreover, since Blackberry isn’t doing that great, it opens up space for Nokia and Microsoft to occupy.
It seems that Nokia have promoting their phone and the operator hugely. This could mean the users of the operator now have a chance to upgrade to the Nokia phones. This is great news to the Nokia and Microsoft partnership.
