Microsoft removes the ban on Flash on Windows 8
Flash was not a valid option for anything that runs on Windows 8. But not anymore! Microsoft has decided to lift the ban on Flash on Windows 8. Microsoft has earlier announced that Windows 8 would not offer any support to Flash and now they have changed their mind.
Microsoft’s logic behind reversing the ban is this: there are not many sites that use Flash these days and Flash is not really a good option for touchscreen devices. So now, they are taking a chance and reversing the ban on support for Flash because not many sites have Flash.
According to a web survey, about 20% of websites still use Flash on their websites in one manner or the other. Let us see how Microsoft deals with this issue. Keep watching this space for more news. To know more about this, read the complete story here.
