Wall Street analyst Rick Sherlund speculated that Microsoft might be having trouble with ARM as it is nearing the release of the operating system. AMR devices are the ones that supposedly give a tough competition to Apple’s iPad. This partnership is not that rosy according to Rick.
Official reports from Microsoft confirm that ARM devices are supposed to be released and shipped along with the X86 / 64 Windows 8 PC. According to Rick, the development of ARM devices is lagging behind. There is no official confirmation from both the parties regarding any delay in the production.
Microsoft declined to comment anything on the speculation that Rick made. Bloomberg News also had reported similar news sometime back, but their sources were unnamed and different. If this continues, we might not see the iPad killer from Microsoft at all, let us wait and watch. To know more about this, read the complete story here.
