Microsoft recently had participated in two-day open door program in Bahrain to support the Bahrain Government. According to Microsoft, Bahrain eGovernment Authority wants to utilize the potential of Windows 8 and Office 365.
Here’s where Microsoft had reported that Office 365 for Windows 8 would also be released along with Windows 8 this year. Big players from the technology world participated in this event. Dell, Fujitsu, and other hug companies made an appearance here.
This event was sponsored by HP and IBM where Microsoft had an opportunity to interact with the officials of Bahrain eGovernment.
The security features in Windows 8 like gestures for password and picture password interested the Bahrain Government officials. Secure mode logins are not totally new but an operating system employing these features in it is.
Some of the laptops that are currently sold in the market already have scanners on them which scan the user’s finger print. These security features in Windows 8 could interest organizations clients in future too.
