Here’s some good news for the frustrated users of Windows 8. The Shutdown is made a little easy in Windows 8 Consumer Preview now. There are a couple of apps, which are approved by Microsoft that make the job easy for user and Shutdown the computer in a jiffy.
There are a couple of ways by which the Shutdown process is made little easy. Here’s the first one: if you are on the classic desktop version of Windows 8, press ‘Alt’ + ‘F4’ key which will show you the Shutdown dialogue box from where you can ‘Shutdown’ or ‘Restart’ the computer.
There are a few Gadgets which are available on Microsoft Gadgets download site that let you shutdown directly from your desktop home screen. These gadgets are approved by Microsoft and they were used by Vista and Windows 7 users. They can be used in Windows 8 too. To know more about this, read the complete story here.
