Sony® revealed Windows® 8-based VAIO Duo 11 at IFA 2012
This newly revealed Windows 8-based VAIO Duo 11 is an adaptable slider that converts from 11.6-inch tablet into an Ultrabook PC. With a minimum weight of 1.3 kg, the slider hybrid Ultrabook comes equipped with digitizer stylus pen, allowing the users to make a quick sketch and handwrite notes on the display.
Other worth noticing specifications of Windows 8-based VAIO Duo 11 includes an Intel Core processor. The users will have the option to select from different configurations- i3, i5, and i7. It will also sport 4GB-8GB of DDR3L 1600MHz SDRAM.
Apart from this, the device will feature a 128GB/256GB SSD, a 1920×1080 Full HD display, and Intel HD Graphics 4000. In terms of connectivity, VAIO Duo 11 will incorporate WiFi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0 connectivity, NFC, and Ethernet. Full HD webcam is another aspect of the just revealed slider hybrid Ultrabook.
