Toshiba® revealed a couple of Windows® 8-based PCs
This week at IFA 2012, Toshiba announced a few conventional-looking Windows 8-based PCs of varying sizes and features. The newly unveiled PCs are Toshiba Satellite P845t and Toshiba Satellite U845W. Both the new PCs are optimized for the upcoming Windows 8 operating system and will include Toshiba Desktop Assist and Toshiba Central.
Let’s check out the main highlights of the newly revealed Windows 8-based PCs by Toshiba.
Toshiba Satellite P845t: It is a Windows 8-ready version of the Toshiba Satellite P845 with an edge-to-edge 14-inch display. The new Toshiba Satellite P845t equips HDMI port, USB 3.0 ports, and Intel’s Wireless Display technology. On the inside, this device includes a third-generation Intel Core i5 processor, a 750GB HDD, and 6GB DDR3 RAM.
Toshiba Satellite U845W: It is a large screen Windows 8-based model that can be configured with a third-generation Intel core i5 or i7 processor. The users can select from 500GB HDD with 32GB SSD or 256GB SSD. Apart from this, Toshiba Satellite U845W features three USB 3.0 ports, memory card slot, and HDMI port.
Both Toshiba Satellite P845t and Toshiba Satellite U845W are set to launch on October 26, 2012 in conjunction with the most-awaited operating system Windows 8.
