Verizon to Arry Windows 8 based Devices
Ever since Microsoft has unveiled the most-awaited operating system Windows 8, Verizon declared it would sell devices based on the new operating system.
The largest North American carrier, Verizon has announcedÂ to launch various Windows Phone 8 handsets in the fourth quarter of 2012. It would certainly help Microsoft to make their Windows Phone a mainstream operating system for smartphones.
However, the carrier didn’t specifically clarify what all devices it will carry. By far and large, Nokia is the chief smartphone brand name behind Windows Phone 8. Although there are various remnant devices from brands like LG, HTC and Samsung, but the companies are primarily inclined towards Android operating system as their key platform.
Apart from Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T has revealed that they will be carrying Windows 8-based devices in the coming future. But none of the carriers have mentioned the total number of devices they are planning to offer.
