VIZIO Introduces Windows 8 Touch-enabled All-in-one PCs, Ultrabooks and Notebook
VIZIO has announced a refreshing new line-up of PCs, before Windows 8 releases on October 26 and holiday shopping begins. The TV and PC manufacturer showcases a new bunch of high-end touch-enabled PCs which will run Windows 8. These latest series of PCs will include high-end devices with touch-screen displays which were not seen with VIZIO PCs before. Variety of PCs included in this Windows 8 ready series are All-in-one PCs, ultrabooks, and notebooks.
All new line-up of VIZIO’s Windows 8 PCs include several All-in-one touch PCs such as 24-inch and 27-inch full HD 1080p resolution LED display. The displays will get functions to respond to gestures of as many as 10 fingers. Those devices will also pack in touchpad when you do not opt for wish to use touch-based functions.
Besides screen-sizes, this new range of Windows 8 based VIZIO PCs vary in terms of processor. Consumers will get choices to select from 2.4GHz Intel Core i3, 2.5GHz Core i5 and up to quad-core, 2.4GHz Core i7 processor. While 24-inch PCs will pack in 2.4GHz Intel Core i3 or 2.5GHz Core i5, 27-inch models will bundle 2.4GHz Core i7 processor.
VIZIO PCs will bundle different range of memory slots as well. For example, a 27-inch system all-in-one PCs will feature a 1TB hard drive with a 32GB SSD for additional storage and an 8GB of RAM. VIZIO 24-inch Windows 8 PCs will include either a 4GB or a 6GB of RAM with 32GB SSD.
VIZIO Windows 8 Ultrabooks will get 15.6-inch and 14-inch displays. VIZIO has labeled its Ultrabooks as “Thin + Light” with just 16mm to 17mm thickness and 1.55 to 1.76 kgs weight.
VIZIO all-in-one PCs will start from $999 and range up to $1,199. The Windows 8 Ultrabooks of VIZIO will be priced at $899 and $1,199. There is also a Windows 8 15.6-inch Notebook which will cost $1,199 with features like Intel Core i7 processor with a quad-core 2.3GHz chip, 1TB hard disk drive with 32GB SSD combo and 8GB of RAM.
