Will Windows® 8 Metro Have Its Own Separate Logo?

There is a possibility that Windows 8 Metro may have its own separate logo. If this speculation is now made, it is because a Windows 8 logo has been spotted on a new tablet as well as in a leaked build of the Windows 8 Consumer Preview.

People all over the world are familiar with the original Windows logo that has been in use for years now. Therefore, it is unlikely that Microsoft will tinker with the standard Windows squares. However, it is possible that the software giant may be contemplating the creation of a separate identity for both Metro as well as Windows 8 tablets.

This way it will be easier to spot the difference between Windows 8 on ARM and the one on desktop. One will have to wait for at least a week to find out whether the conjectures about the new Windows 8 logo are actually true.
