Windows® 8 Server to be called Windows® Server 2012

Microsoft has decided to call Windows 8 Server as Windows Server 2012 now. At the Microsoft Management Summit 2012, Microsoft officially announced this today. Corporate Vice President of Microsoft, who also talked about other plans at the summit, announced this.
Brad Anderson said that Microsoft’s cloud services would become powerful when combined with Windows Server 2012. This new operating system will release along with Windows 8 later this year.
This event was attended by around 5000 IT professionals where Microsoft’s plans for delivery and could computing services were discussed with them. Anderson went on to explain the importance of cloud computing to these professionals.
It was at this event that Microsoft also announced that there would only be four versions of the new operating system. Microsoft explained the professionals at the event on the advantages of moving to its cloud services. To know more about this, read the complete story.
