Mayans said the world would end in the year 2012 and he market experts said that PC would die soon. Looks like both of them aren’t happening any time soon! Market experts maybe looked at the buying trends and the changing times to make this assumption that PC would be dead soon. Little did they know about Windows 8 when they made this assumption!
The PC market grew by 1.8 % in 2011 and the expected growth percentage for this year is 5. This sounds promising for the PC makers. Major spike in that percentage is mostly because of Microsoft. Windows 8 has to be thanked for reviving the almost dead market if those figures are actually achieved.
Apparently many users are not buying a PC right now, and are waiting for Microsoft to release the final version of Windows 8. Windows 8 indeed is becoming more powerful than expected. So in 2012 and 2013, more and more PC would be sold and bought. To know more about this, read the complete story here.
