ZTE teases Windows Phone 8 handsets
A number of smartphone manufacturers are expected to launch Windows Phone 8 powered handsets when the mobile operating system is officially launched by Microsoft Corporation. ZTE is one among the handset makers that are anticipated to do so. A marketing executive of ZTE has posted some photographs of ZTE’s Windows Phone 8 smartphones on a Chinese social network as a teaser.
Apart from the pictures of the Windows Phone 8 powered handsets that are claimed to be from ZTE, nothing much has been disclosed on the social networking platform. In addition to the smartphones, the website also shows a Windows RT tablet from ZTE which is yet to be announced.
The image posted by Dennis Lui, who is a marketing strategy manager at ZTE, on his personal Sina Weibo account shows three upcoming ZTE Windows Phone devices. The handset device on the right hand side resembles the regular ZTE Tania. The other two devices shown in the image do not reveal much as the photograph is very blurred. The only thing clear from this teaser is that ZTE could very well be one of the first few smartphone manufacturers to take the plunge into the new mobile operating system version.
