Will Windows® 7 be able to Run Windows® 8?
In the recently concluded WPC 2011 (Worldwide Partner Conference 2011), Microsoft said that users will be able to use their Windows 7 PC to run Windows 8. This means that you will get an equal experience in the aspects and features of using Windows 8 even on a Windows 7 PC. That’s great!
Windows 8 in Huge Demand
Windows 8 is expected to be launched by 2012 and there is already a huge demand for it in terms of its changed user interface (UI). The UI appears similar to Windows Phone 7. Instead of a standard desktop with icons, menus, and taskbar, Windows 8 has a sleek interface based on tiles. Due to the difference in its UI, Windows 8 has a completely revolutionary look that is increasing the demand among users to switch to Windows 8 when it gets released in 2012.
Easier Switching from Windows 7 to Windows 8
So far, Microsoft has enabled users to switch to the XP Mode or Vista Mode when they install a program in Windows 7. However, this is just changing the programming requirements in order to install a program. What Microsoft seeks to achieve with Windows 7 is to give users an easier option to switch to Windows 8. This can be only done if users have the ability to be able to work in a similar Windows 8 environment on a Windows 7 PC.
So, if you are thinking of switching to a Windows 8 PC, from Windows 7, then watch out this space as we bring more news in terms of the usability of both the operating systems. For the time being, let’s hope you don’t have to switch to a different PC to install Windows 8.
