		<description>This sounds very much the same as Apple&#039;s obvious migration to a blending of iOS and OSX.  The release of OSX 10.7 (Lion) is evidence that is the goal.

Considering that Microsoft has been copying Apple since the first release of Windows, it is no surprise they would be going in the same direction.

Then, tablets seem to be where personal computing is going.  Large desktop systems may soon be as rare as the floppy disk.

If you have a tablet that can do all a desktop can do and be connected via wireless to large monitors, printers, external storage, etc., why bother with a desktop?

The popularity of the current iMacs and their imitators that combine the monitor with the computer is another indication that simplicity is what consumers want.</description>
