5 easy steps to disable Firewall on Windows 8

- Click ‘System and Security’ and then click ‘Windows Firewall’.
- Select the radio button next to ‘Turn off Windows Firewall’ under ‘Private network location settings’ and ‘Public network location settings’ options.
- Now click ‘OK’.
